The Society organizes biennial conferences National Conference on Surfactants,Emulsions and Biocolloids (NATCOSEB)* in different parts of India.It extends collaboration for organizing conferences relavant to surface chemistry at various places of the country.All the related informations are available in the website of the Society.The Society also organizes a one day colloquium ,Trends in Surface Science and Related Areas(TSSRA) twice a year. |

| The Annual General Meeting of the Society is held yearly at the Head quarters of the Society, the date of which is notified in the website of the Society.The Society also holds a Special General Body Meeting during the National conference on Surfactants,Emulsions and Biocolloids (NATCOSEB) .

Award Lecture |

Prof.B.N. Ghosh Memorial Lecture:This award lecture in memory of the renowned surface scientist,Prof.B.N.Ghosh is organized by the Society at each NATCOSEB.This is generally delivered by an eminent scientist working in the area of surface science or an allied field .The award carries a token honourarium along with a citation. |

a) Mittal Award : This award is presented to the young budding scientists. The best oral and poster presentations at NATCOSEB are given the award of a token cash and a citation.
b) Best published paper Award: Since 2008, the Society has initiated an award for the best paper published each year in the Journal of Surface Science and Technology. |
